Sending out my jams today! JustBe (Kris) is getting apple/rhubarb, Calicogirl (Sharon) is getting peach/rhubarb, DebbieSue is getting raspberry/blackcap. I am also sending TexDane a pint of apple/rhubarb because she never heard from her partner.

If anyone else is having a problem contacting their partners, let me know.

Patti I got my marionberry jam package from you today. Guess what I'll be putting on my toast in the morning? Thank you I'm excited to try it. I may just have to plug in the toaster here in a minute.

Diane,

I will be sending your Jam out Priority tomorrow (we only have one vehicle and it's the only opportunity I have). I will send you an e-mail with the delivery confirmation number :)

Gosh girls, I am sorry but the postage is a little high to send jars full of jam. All of mine were between $7.00 and $8.00 each for priority mail. The regular mail was only a few cents less. I think someone mentioned this earlier in the swap, she was right.

a little tip I would like to share. I mail stuff out alot, when I sell my books, and other items, and now hubby is going thru his things and selling off what he no longer needs as well. and on items like these I always want the delivery confirmation and that costs more money too.
we went on usps site, you need to create a sign in-name and password. then go to click and ship. you will need a postal scale-I browsed thru ebay a year or so ago and got mine super cheap. You will get a discount on priority mail plus the delivery confirmation fee is free. I love that. you just pay by credit card, and print off the label on regular paper. cut off the reciept for your records and tape on the label-just don't tape over the bar code.

this method of shipping also goes thru much faster, you can add the email too of who you are mailing to, and they will get an email notification of your shipment. I have save sooo much money doing this already.

I also like the fact that you get free mailing boxes from the this site as well. I get the flat rate boxes all sizes, and also regular priority boxes different sizes, and with all the boxes I recycle too, have a nice assortment.

and when I weigh the item I compare the price to flat rate boxes to regular priority.

hope this helps

yes, shipping has just gotton really expensive, depending on the weight and distance of the package sometimes the flat rate is a good deal, sometime not. it something fits in the small 4.95 flat rate box-you get alot of heavy stuff in there-but it is not very wide so the jams will not fit

Patti, love the marionberry jam. Had it on toast for breakfast and PB&J for lunch. Almost like a mild blackberry. Thank you again.

Thank you so much. Received your jam but have yet to try it. This week for sure. Can't wait. Love the fabric and design you added on top of the jar. It is beautiful.

Hi, received my jam from Kathy. Thank you so much. I am making hers today. I was so swamped with other swaps and ebay orders that I am a little behind. Bear with me Kathy.
