Don't mean to brag farm girlfriends but Michigan weather has been sooo nice for the past week. We had a nice rainstorm yesterday that we needed. But most of last week and again today it has been the best weather ever. The past few days have been in the high 70's/low 80's with sunshine. The next few days will be in the high 60's/low 70's with sunshine. We struggle to stay inside when it's like this. I look for things to wash just to give me an excuse to head outside & hang stuff on the line. I don't want it to end.

My gardens are thriving as are the weeds, but who cares about weeds when the summer weather is soooo nice?-Winters are harsh up here in the UP and it's these kinds of summers that keep me sane!
I remember those days when I went to school at Interlochen Arts Academy, inland from Traverse City. I loved Spring and Summer, and heck, even Winter (which seemed to begin in October!) in Michigan!
That sounds heavenly to me right now. We have been in the high 90's lately. I am wilting! Along with everything else here. I always said I would like to live in Michigan one day. It's a beautiful place up there. Enjoy the nice weather and think of us Ga. girls swealtering in the heat and humdity. I need a nice cold drink now!

well today and yesterday have been perfect. but before that we got a LOT of rain for about 2 weeks striaght up here in up north country!!! Love Michigan though
