Do you all get free samples of perfume and fragrances in the mail, maybe tucked in with your statements, or with a catalogue? If you peel back a portion of the paper, you can smell the fragrance being advertised.

At our house, we open them and tuck them in the bottom of our underwear, t-shirt and clothing drawers. They give a subtle and nice scent to your clothing as you take them out and put them on. We do the same thing with scented soaps. Before using them for bathing, we store them in our clothing drawers, and they make the clothes smell so nice!

That's a great one! Since I love tea so much people are always giving me tea as a gift...so much that I could never drink it all by myself. I make little sachet packets with the extra loose tea or put the whole teabags into the drawer.

Lavender sachets!! I make them with lavender using muslin bags then stitch a little vintage "spool" from an old quilt. They are soooo nice....

I purchase fragranced soaps (orange spice is my favorite) and unwrap it and keep it in my drawers. Nice subtle fragrance. After serving as my dresser sachet, it seems to have dried out a little bit and then I use it in my shower. Because it seems to have dried, it lasts a lot longer in the shower.

And you know what else we use? When we go to hotels and get free soap, we put them in our drawers for awhile before using.....they make a great fesh scent for our clothing.

my sister and I have been putting those perfume pages out of magazines in our dresser drawers for a long time. I was at my aunt's house and she gets alot of mag's and I said something about how good they smell. She said i just dont know what I would use them for. When i told her what my sister and I did with them. She said "well i never thought of that". Your clothes alway's smell good.

what a great idea! And when you get tired of one scent, there is usually a new one to be found easily!

I love to buy soap as my treat on vacation. Then I put in in the drawers for a while before using it. I bought some in Williamsburg last year and it is just wonderful to open the drawer and smell it. The one I have in there now is bayberry. Just wonderful!

I've used the inserts from magazines too!

My hubby does that too! He gets nice soaps and instead of storing them in a bathroom drawer, he puts them in the sock and undie drawers and then uses them as needed!
