Hey ladies!

Awhile ago I came here asking for support while adjusting to my recent move to the city. It had been so hard for me and so many of you ladies gave me great support and advice. I thought I would be around here more and then yet again my life took a pretty dramatic turn, my husband lost the job that we had relocated for! In two months time I found myself searching for property and ended up back here in Washington and in the same house that I had left (that was in the process of having work done). Although it was devastating when my husband lost his job I now think that it was the BEST thing that could have happened to us. We are back in our old home with a new vision and having loads of fun together! Now that I am settled in I will definitely be around more. I recently found a great place to volunteer with my family and am working towards that merit badge ;)

Here a recent pics of the work we have been doing at our place:

Thanks for sharing the journey with me ladies, you have been great!

Wow! That is amazing that you got your old house back! Did it feel like coming home when you saw your property again?

Lara, I'm new on the boards, but wanted to say that I'm so glad things are going better for you & your family! It looks great all the work that you and your husband are doing on your property... so many positive, healthy-living things you're doing! Yay!

Alee,

My in-laws actually own it and were thinking of selling it so it was pretty convenient for us to move back. It was really strange at first because it was in the process of being repainted and in general felt very different from when we had left it. It felt so artificial the first week that we weren't sure we had made the right choice to move back in to it, now we have been able to see it as a chance to "dream a new dream," here. I am loving it now!

I'm new but wanted to chime in and say I enjoyed your story and your pictures. I've learned that life always has a way of working out for the best. But sometimes it's so hard to have faith when things are looking pretty gloomy. Thanks for sharing!
