I have some pieces of "chippy", "shabby" furniture I want to keep chippy. I need to shellac them, to keep the paint from chipping all the way off, or splintering folks. I was wondering how exactly one goes about doing that? I guess I could just buy a can of "shellac", and brush it on, but I don't want it to be thick or glossy. Thoughts on how to do this? Thanks!
