I would love to have a kitchen like that. All organized and everything in it's place. A far cry from what I have. That would be perfect for me. Thanks for sharing it, Sharon. I am all for being organized and easy.

I agree, I like that kitchen as well. The house I moved into does not have cupboards or shelving, so I am relying on wooden cupboards I found at a second hand shop, and two metal cabinets for storage. My pans are on a shelf at the bottom of the basement stairs. Isn't it interesting how all of those types of organization items are coming back into design, only they are either called "retro", nostalgic, or 'new and improved? lol.

If I could have my "dream kitchen" it would be the one, including the conservatory and spice storage room, on the movie "Practical Magic" with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. Did anyone see that? Such lovely cupboards, tons of space, a gorgeous huge butcher block table, and tons of natural lighting (sigh..bliss).

Blessings,
Dawnia

WOW! And that was dated 1949! Amazing! Just goes to show, it's not how big the kitchen is, it's how well layed-out it is that makes it easy to work in, which, in turn, makes us women happy! I was really impressed with it!
