Hello Ladies; I have always been interested in country living maybe it comes from coming from the Northwoods of Wisconsin or just from watching the Waltons and Little House. I'm a 34 yr old lady come 1 month from today.I married a city boy who has no desire for the country lifestyle or anything country. I enjoy trying new recipes and collecting cookbooks.I love the outdoors from gardening to birdwatching. Hope to make lots of new friends. Lisa |

Welcome, Lisa - I think you'll just love it here. You'll find lots of new friends, and as much information and insight as a farmgirl could want! Welcome, and enjoy the 'Connection! You never know, hour husband could see just how much fun a farmgirl has, and want to join in --- one never knows! Stranger things have happened...
XOXO, Libbie

Hi Lisa,
Glad to meet you. Welcome. My dh isn't really the country type, but he always goes along for the ride with me.

Hey Lisa! Welcome! I have a city boy husband too! He used to not want to be country at all, but over the years he has been more and more into it. He bought me a grain mill so I could grind wheat berries and make bread. He also bought himself a truck and my family and I tease him about it so much, but he loves it. Libbie's right, there is so much fun a farmgirl and who knows, maybe he will get caught up in your excitement.
I think I have always wanted this lifestyle because of reading the Janet Oke books.

Hi Lisa! Glad you found us! Even if your hubby is city-folk, I'm sure he loves all the country things about you. There's a lot of great people here, and always something new to discuss. What kind of things do you like cooking? Do you collect vintage cookbooks? We'd love to see pictures of your garden, so keep us posted!
