As we all know Horseradish lives on forever. Sooooo I made a little mistake years ago before I knew this and decided to dig it up and move it to a new location. I should have known then something was up when my hubby giggled and walked away. So now I have lots of it and hate to waste it. I use it with beef and I put dried horseradish in with my pot roast to give it a zing. Does anyone have any other uses, food or otherwise? Thanks!

We have a big plant too. We haven't done anything with it yet, but DH keeps saying that he's going to make relish with it. I think he's afraid to tackle it, knowing it's potency. We just got a couple of Wasabi plants this year. He loves to grow "HotStuff." I've put horseradish in my deviled eggs before. The family raved about that at a holiday dinner and none of those made it home either.I'd love to have that coleslaw recipe though. Sounds yummy.

It makes great homemade coctail sauce.

If you grow a potatoe garden it makes a great companion plant when planted at the corners of your potatoe bed. It will help prevent blister beetles. As another companion planting you can also plant it near apple trees or make a "tea" out of it to spray on the apple trees. I can't remember how to spell what it prevents but it is good for the apple tree :)

Hugs~
