I was going to grill peaches on Memorial day, but my dear son only built a lazy, wimpy fire for the grill, and it burned out before I could get to the peaches.
I was going to serve them with this recipe
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup blackberry preserves
2 Tb minced basil
I got it from a magazine
I added some blackberries to give more flavor. The little mixture is sitting in the fridge. I can think of a ton of things to do with it, but nothing grabs me. Any ideas?? I could even cream it with sugar as the base of a small cake/ coffeecake , right?

Ummmmmm, grilled peaches!! Did you happen to catch Bobby Flay grillin half the day away on Monday?? That blackberry butter would taste really good on an english muffin!!

Bake a pound cake and put it on slices of that!!! I would love some of that!

These ideas are so much easier than baking something!!! I missed Bobby Flay. I just mightbbroil some peaches, and then have leftover buitter for some of the other ideas!!!

We can't keep blackberry anything in the house long 'nuff to have it for left-overs! lol
