I was racking my brain trying to figure out where to get my postcards from locally...I called the local Hallmark store and the local Walgreens and they both carry them! I'm going to try a couple more places to see if they do too!
The places where I remember picking up postcards when on vacation are tourist towns, the airport and truck stops!

I found my postcards at . . believe it or not . . . Walmart! Our Walmart has a section with local souvenirs, etc.
But other possibilities might be motels, restaurants, quick stop style gas stations that also have the "store" as many of them do nowadays. Perhaps even your local travel agents office. This might be a stretch but even maybe local real estate offices . . who knows!

Another place that carries post cards are supermarkets (like Safeway) --they're near the front of the store at the mini cashier area (where returns are done) and pharmacy stores (like Rite-Aid). And remember that postcard stamps are only 28 cents.

Well, I managed to pick up 20 cards today.. at the Flyin J truckstop, stopped by the PO and bought stamps..... getting ready to make the postal carrier work for her pay lol

What a great week for mail! Since Wednesday I have received postcards from Karen in MI, Kathy in CO, Teresa in NY and Carole in AZ. This has been so much more fun than I ever imagined. I want to travel to all the places in the postcards!

Kim, I totally agree! Mailed off a bunch more today & ran out of postcards for my last two... so off I go to pick some more up (once my son wakes from his nap) & also to the post office to get the mail --whoo hoo --now there's fun stuff in the mail :-)

Greeting wow it is so nice to get Farm Girl mail and not "bills" I got two cards today one from Beth Jones and one from Marlene--this is so funny I got a postcard yesterday from Kim from Gettysburg and I was just there on Monday and Iwish I would of knew this I would of loved to paid her a visit as I meet one in PA area Staci Warkard and it was blast!!!!

Thanks for all my postcards I have received also!!! I was able to contact the state department of tourism of my state, Alabama, and they sent me the postcards I sent out for free. Tho't that might be an idea for some of you. Smiles, Beth
