I received a postcard from CJ yesterday....love that you can see Mesa Verde from your house! We visited there many years ago with my parents. My son was very young and I'm not sure he remembers it but we all loved it there.
Thank you!

I can see the Mesa Verde (Spanish for "table green) which is a long sorta flat mountain south of us. I can't see any of the ruins or such. I have seen the ruins and crawled around them as was allowed, even been out to the Wetherill area. Nowadays I'm not crazy about seeing the ruins cuz I been there, done that many times but I do enjoy watching the people!!!!
GAIL . . gotcha down . . . sent you the list. Will get your name and address and a couple other "newbies" out to everyone soon. Have fun!! CJ

Thank you for the post card CJ. That train ride looks wonderful. I've actually never been on a train.

The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is an absolutely gorgeous ride. My grandson loved it and was ready to go rafting on the Animas River.

CJ, your postcard landed in my mailbox over the weekend but I didn't recieve it until this am, we were at a wedding in Southern MO. I would give a shiny penny to crawl all over those ruins they are beautiful!
Thank you!!

Glad my postcards are showing up to you ladies. I had them ready to go once the list showed up. I was in McCall Idaho at the time so I'm not sure where the post mark shows. Those who got the Clark Fork, Valley picture. That is where I live. Population 530!
CeeJay*** I may be missing list #3. I got my first one, the second with two names but nothing else.

I was so excited to start mailing mine, then realized I'm completely out of stamps. Well, that means a trip to the post office tomorrow. I promise there will be some Florida post cards in your mailboxes soon!

Annette - Try just taking some of your own snapshots. When you get 4"X6" prints, they are the same size as a postcard. You can just draw a line down the center on the back of the photo, write your message on the left and recipients name & address on the right. Sometimes personally taken photos are better than the snapshots on store bought postcards anyway! Good luck. I look forward to seeing your creativity shine.

Marie, ouu I had not thought of that, thanks for the idea!! I can see a Midwestern landmark from my front porch.
Betsy, I knew there was a Flyin J just a few minutes from me for a reason lol.
Now I just have to decide ;c)

Annette - Glad I could help. How lucky you are to have such a special view! I am sending store bought post cards this go-round, but I may take some snap shots of my little Florida shrimping town for July's swap. Happy mailing
CJ - BTW...Please make sure I'm still on the list for July. I'd like to participate in round #2. Thanks.

Marie, You are on the list until the swap is closed on August 1st. You don't need to send a 2nd postcard unless you want to . . that is entirely up to you.
The lists you all will be getting from now on are only going to be NEW SIGNUPS!!!! Hope that makes sense! THANKS! CJ
