I'm also a waver. There have been a few times when I wave and people don't wave back, but I like to think that they didnt see mee:)

Everyone here waves also. Some just two fingers over the steering wheel, other the big wave.

When meetng cars on the road, most everyone gives a casual wave. That's the way it is around here(west Texas)if you don't....well, you just are stuck-up!

So funny, when I drive my husband's truck, other local people driving trucks wave at me or do the finger wave holding the top of the steering wheel.

But then if I'm driving my car, the same people don't wave! Guess it's a truck thing!

Yes, I definitely wave!

*Waving Hi* :-) I like hearing friendliness stories. Glad to see so many wavers here :-) As for the non-wavers, that's okay... I've learned over the years that no one really knows the story of everybody (don't know if they're sad, dealt with a loss, been hurt, abused, etc), so when someone's been aloof, I figure, they deserve a bit of grace *hugs* :-)

i'm usually in a good mood---thus i'm usually smiling. i have a tendency to wave first when i'm in my own neighborhood....if i'm "out of my area" i'll wave if someone waves to me. One exception though: my old neighbor...she puts on a bikini-type "running outfit" , runs up and down the street and ALWAYS has to bend over (like she's doing a toe-touch)everytime a car goes by! but the guys love it!
