I just want to share this plant. It is the most amazing groundcover and living mulch. I plant lots of ground hugging plants inbetween my pink limestone pavers. I have a few posts that show it blooming. It has been doing its thing for at least a month. And this plant is xeric with its grey green leaves and purple flowers.
www.DakotaGarden.com - What favorite "ground huggers" do you enjoy? I later have blooming thymes and others.

Your gardens are so beautiful. That blue really stands out. I will have to check into that. Will it take some shade?

Kris, I think it could take a little shade. But it should not have wood or leaf mulch. I mulch it with pea gravel. The leaves are greyish green which means it stands up to dry sun. I also have covering large areas and blooming later Lavender thyme. That does take more shade. But again no large wet mulches.
