My squash and cucumbers have both spotted and striped cucumber beetles. Do you all know of anything I can mix up at home to help eradicate them or purchase (natural options, please)? It appears that they also have fusarium wilt. We have never had this sort of trouble with our plants. I can’t go without my fresh cucumbers and squash, so I need some help ladies!
I use diotemacious earth from Safer. I get it at Lowe's. It looks like Seven dust but it's organic powder. I like it and use it when I see beetles and bad bugs. I need to put some on the Royal Burgandy green beans. Looks like they have holes form something.

kris is right about the DE> you can also mix a tblsp. of cooking oil and a tblspn of baking soda and a few drops liquid dish soap to a gallon of water. spray in am before the sun hits the leaves. this will help with the wilt the beetles carried in. just a thought sherrye
The only thing I ever found that works non chemically on those pesky beetles is picking them off. I tried everything under the sun and still had problems. I used to take a coffee can of salt water into the garden with my boys and we would pick them off and drop them into the salt water to kill them. Be sure to check the under sides of the leaves for the eggs - they are orange. Also - the larve look sort of like a brownish lady bug so are easy to over look. Good luck on that one. You have my sympathies.
