Hey Farmgirls,
Many of you got an email from Rene Groom ... aka "ruralfarmgirl", our Sisterhood Coordinator, letting us know she has accepted a new position of employment. :(
Many of you know her well, many of you don't . . but she has worked HARD for us, with us and because of us here on FARMGIRL CONNECTION and FARMGIRL SISTERHOOD. She has played a MAJOR part in putting together the "Cluck" newsletter, MJF Magazine, Rural Farmgirl Blog,the Henhouse Chapters, all sorts of stuff for the Sisterhood and Merit badges . . .and the list goes on and on . . . and on an on!!!!
As she told me we are "still sisters"!! SHE WILL BE MISSEDI]
SOOOOOOO . . FARMGIRL SISTERS!!!!!
Let's shower her with notes and cards expressing our true blue
FARMGIRL HEARTS OF LOVE, CARE and GRATITUDE!!!!!!!If you are willing TO COMMIT (ya' gotta commit ) to sharing with her. . .

Hi girls,
Rene was offered a full-time job as Community Relations Coordinator for Prosser Memorial Hospital. It all happened very fast. It was unexpected for her as well as for us.
I'm sure she'll be in touch when she has time.

Hey, some of you gals gave me a heads up on Face book that you were all chatting over here.... Yep, even though I am leaving my perch, I will still be in and out of the forum.
I have been volunteering for the Prosser Memorial Hospital Foundation for years, helping them with a few of with their huge event, and when they had a paid position open up they asked me to consider it. While I wasn't out there looking for a new job, the timing seemed perfect and I certainly didn't think I could pass up such a great opportunity. My job is in Community Relations, marking, and publication. Prosser farm girls are still going strong and we feel that we are just getting started... So if you are ever in Prosser stop on by, we try to post all of our shenanigans at www.prosserfarmgirls.ning.com.......and of course you can always find me on face-book or by emailing me at reneg@clearwire.net... thank you for the great send off, it has been a joy to serve such an amazing group of women...I am looking forward to shifting gears and spending some time focusing on my health, finishing my education in Holistic Nutrition and doing more writing, and more speaking engagements. I will certainly keep you all in the loop... thank you all for being such amazing women....and awesome sisters.
Circumstances made us FRIENDS; MaryJanesFarm made us SISTERS :)

rene, well, i must wish you good luck on your new venture, but you will be missed here on this site. i am sure you are unaware of all the times you just gave insight or clarification, but i for one have been helped out by you on more than one occasion for sure.
