Hey FarmGirls!

Our brand new chapter, Empire State Mountain FarmGirls, had its first "meeting." We decided to make our meetings "chore days," where we would all pitch in to do a chore at the hosting FarmGirl's home. This way we learn new skills and get some of those "four hands needed" projects done. Our first meeting took place at my home - we installed the last two packages of honeybees on my hill. Go to the newsletter page of www.copperdoghill.com for a look at FarmGirls Susan (bybiddie) and Marianne (Mari-Dahlia) suited up and working the girls!

Rosie,

I went to your site to check out the honeybee installation. My ancestors settled in Bacon Hill, NY quite a long time ago. How far away are you from Bacon Hill? It was so interesting to read the newsletter.

Debbie, we are about 25 miles from Bacon Hill. White Creek is near Bennington, Vermont on the eastern side of the state.
