I have always been in love with goats. I live in the city...so I can't own goats...yet. Is there anyone out there in Texas that would be willing to let me help you with your goats on some weekend? I really am not crazy. Just can't get this goat thing out of my head.

If your ever in my neck of the woods you are always welcome to come in and be with my goats. I would love to have you and your not nuts... I am the fiber end of goats but can surely get you also hooked up with those who milk...

Hope someone close is willing to open their farm to you. You might want to connect with your local county extention office because they can hook you up with 4H clubs who I am sure would welcome you.

Life is grand when you have a goat - good luck.

I would love to help someone too, with anything farm ralated if they are in my area. And no, I am not crazy either, lol. I would just love the experiance. I am such an animal and nature lover that I would consider the experiance an honor.

I would put out an add on your craigslist or a local yahoo group and see if anyone needs help. Or even check www.localharvest.org perhaps one of those farmers might have goats and would appreciate help?

Julia:
What a kind thing to do. Farmgirl kindness! I don't have goats, but like you, I would love to have a few. Of course, Channah, Teresa, or Kris would have to come over and teach me all about raising the goats. I'd have no idea.
