I planted my cold crops about a month ago now I am just waiting to get the rest in. My liliac bushes and dogwood tree are my time to plant signs and neither has flowered out.

i am like diana waiting for the lilacs to bloom. they just opened. i still have to be ready for snow or a freeze ANYTIME. difficult to grow here. happy days sherrye
I understand all to well!! We had snow June 14th last year. . . so one needs to be very cautious. For me, the snow has melted and the ground has thawed, a good sign indeed. I will be creating mini green houses to cover up the garden plots. . this will help to warm the soil and to protect whatever I plant in the event of more snow.
