I pulled all the weeds, borrowed my friends tiller and we're ready to plant!

We had a soil test done by the Farm Bureau and I'm happy to report that our soil is almost near perfect! Not bad for a City Chick! I'm headed to our local nursery tomorrow - they have heirloom veggies that I love to buy. Last year the tomato plants I bought were almost 1-1/2 high! Cherokee Red's I think they were. I can't wait to see what else they have to offer.

My Mom told me that she's decided to give me her compost tumbler! I'm so excited. I've been pricing them and they're not in the budget right now. I may try & pick that up tomorrow as well.

I heard on the radio on my way to Home Depot that yesterday was the last frost date for our area so "be nice to everyone waiting in line in the plant department". You should have seen the lines at Home Depot!!! Yikes!

Happy Gardening! I'm craving a home grown tomato now!

Now's the fun part! I am about one days work away from being totally planted. I still have my summer and fall plantings to do, but not for a while yet obviously. I have already made up a list of new things to try next year. I have 12 new plants I want to try and I want to try a little intensive planting and some wide rows. My DH says I'm garden obsessed! I'm starting on next years garden and my spring garden isn't even done for this year! I am and I love it! LOL!

Darn! The nursery is closed today. Tomorrow for sure!

There's been a busy- happy robin in the garden since yesterday eating all the grubs, bugs & worms. She'll be so fat she won't be able to fly!

Hey Deb. Shoot, don't ya just hate that? Just 1 more day to wait now. There must be a reason. You'll get it done. I hope you find some good things to plant.
