Ya'll are doing a great job. I love the apron sewn by hand and the corn cob doll is adorable. I have made a corn husk doll before. I might have to wait a while for my corn to come in to make a doll. I am thinking about what I can start on. There is so much to choose from here.

I think it took me longer to figure out how to post a picture than it did to make the apron

Well, here's the vinegar pie. It smelled good, but the taste was strange. I guess if you didn't have a Baskin Robbins nearby it might be considered a treat, but I don't think I'll be serving this any time soon!

Hi Teresa,
Your doll looks as beautiful as the angel you made does! Hope you are doing well!

Well, it's kind of sweet. There's a slight taste of apple cider vinegar. It was just kind of blah, I guess. The texture was weird too.......kind of slimy! I used the recipe from the Little House cookbook, but I know there are other recipes online. Maybe someone else will try one! As for me.......I'm off to make my own bullets. Just kidding! I think I'm going to do the corncob doll next.

Oh WOW Ya'll are doing some great stuff.

Betsy- I love your apron.

Amy-I'm going to try the vinegar pie from a recipe which I found in an old cookbook that I have. We'll see if my pie turns out as blah as yours did.

I Love the aprons! I've never made one but it is on my list!

I don't have any pictures yet, but my daughter and I braided some mini-onions from the garden and (as my youngest reminded me) hung them in the attic . . . so fun!

Tonight we shook and shook and shook a jar of cream and made butter. I really wish I had a butter churner. I saw 3 at a garage sale the other day, but they wanted too much for them. I'm not sure what we'll do next and I can't wait to see more of your projects!

Vinegar Pie? Sounds...honestly...nasty. :-) The first thing on my list is another apron. A farmgirl can never have enough. Oh! And butter! I have the whipping cream in my fridge just for the purpose of making butter.

I can't find a corn cob!!! I never thought it would be that hard to find. So, my corncob doll will have to wait.

I started making my apron on Monday! It's going to take a while, since I'm hand-sewing it, but I 'm still making it!

Amy: What a wonderful list you have compiled! Thanks. Are you going to Pepin, WI? I think you know already it was the house in the big woods. We were there when they had a tornado! It blew the door off our little trailer. One winter I took the boys and they got out of the car to make a bee-line to the little house and disappeared over their heads in a ditch covered with snow. We all had a good laugh! Hope to see you.
