Helo, ladies!!
I have a question about sewing with stretch poplin.
I have an AMy Butler pattern that can be used with " light to mid weight fabric." It is called the Liverpool Tunic. SInce I have some stretch poplin I got for $1 a yard, I want to make one in that fabric first. It's a little bit of a fabric hungry pattern.
Which way is the grain on stretch poplin? Any feedback would be very helpful!

The grain has the least stretch. Cross grain has the most stretch. Generally the straight is the same direction as the selvage edge. Be sure to use a needle for knits (ball point) or you could have skipped stitches.

Thanks, Sheri!
Will I stitch with a regular straight stitch, or use the stitch setting that is meant for knits ?
This is my year to expand my sewing skills beyond quilting cottons!
