I am glad you got them, I was so excited to get them mailed to you that I left the sase on the table. I am pleased you like the blocks I hope everyone else does too; I fretted over the colors and my signature line. You're very welcome for the tuck in, the least I could do for you for putting this together. :c)

Ladies,
I've never written on fabric before with the exception of temp pens. Do I have to go buy specific fabric pens or will any sharp permanent marker work?

I found out the hard way and ruined one of my blocks by using a "sharp" permanent marker. I went out and bought a special fabric pen in black. It works great.

Good Morning Ladies and a wonderful day it shall be....
Hi Julie, my blocks should arrive to you today. I used the pigma pen for the wording and really didn't like the way it turned out. It looks like a third grader wrote it. Wish I would have had time to do it by hand.:)
I hope everyone enjoys this wonderful Holiday week end. We have been invited to a cookout and bonfire party on Sunday. Yippee! Does anyone have a good potluck recipe that's easy to take along? Please email me privately. Thank you for your consideraton.

Your package came yesterday Margaret. I live in a small town and maybe our postal system is not as efficient as a bigger city. Sometimes I can receive a package in 3 days the next time in 6...it just depends.
As for this allotment of blocks, I will say I am very impressed and I believe all you ladies will be also. I understand that there are all degrees of skills here making the blocks. As I said in the very beginning I want these swaps to be fun and also to bring the love of sewing and quilting into your lives. I am having so much enjoyment (it's like Christmas every time a package arrives) as swap mama!
Enough said. Keep bringing on the blocks ladies!

Julie, my post office is very small and rural also, so I never know when it goes or when it comes, lol! But I love my postmaster Jay he is a great guy!

My quilt blocks are in mail sent out today. They are on there way..sorry it took me so long..looking forward to recieving the new blocks..by doing this I have been learning how to quilt. What fun I'm having..thank you farmgirls for helping me stretch my ablity's.

I will wait until Wednesday June 9th to receive the last two remaining blocks. If I don't receive them I will have to send the blocks out without them because I will be on my way to the "Farmgirls on the Loose" Laura Ingels Wilder tour in Pepin, WI with Fiddlehead Farms - Diane the morning of the 10th. If I don't receive the last two blocks I will just keep them for the next swap exchange. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will be in my mail in time.
