It sounds familiar. But it's been quite a while.

Ugh...sorry, my mom LOOOOOVED Tom Paxton! His music, to this day, can make my skin crawl :P I remember being trapped in a car with this 8 track, all the way to Evansville!! The things you remember from childhood....

Oh Jonni. I just had to laugh. I can imagine you in a car with this playing and can't get out. You poor thing. The things our parents did to us! I have never heard of him or the song. I like it though.

Kris, it was a 4 hour ride!!!! She loved this song, and some song about Annie's tree or some hippie-dippie thing or another. She used to get all teary!! Poor man, I'm sure he's a wonderful singer, but his music gives me the heebies!

That's too funny! I think I drove my mom, aunt, and uncle crazy one summer on a trip from Washington to Minnesota and back when I played the same Lynyrd Skynyrd greatest hits cassette tape over and over and over, it was about Wyoming on the way back when my aunt finally snapped:)
