I have just started weaving fabric on a loom. Started is funny due to the fact that my DH built the loom, and I have the warp on the loom. That is it....I cannot seem to understand my instruction book on the next step. The weaving part has me confused. Does anyone know a web site or something to get me on the right track? Thanks if you do, Barbara

you are so lucky to have a talented hubby to build you one!! I'm so happy for you!! Wish I knew where to direct you. . . the only place I know is in Vermont and she gives hands on lessons in her studio.
Her name is Dena, she has a website www.vermontweavingschool.com if you email her, she may be able to help. Be sure to tell her I recommended her to you. . .

There is some good DVDs by Debbie Chanlor, I think that is her name. I noticed them when I was at the Yarn Barn in Kansas. I think she also has a book for beginning weavers. What type of loom do you have?

Check www.thewoolery.com - they sell looms and have some on-line instruction.

The loom that I have is for fabric. I thought I would try this first then move to weaving yarn. I can use my older fabric that I do not want to use in my quilts. It is very basic. The book is "Rugs From Rags" by Country Threads. I have e-mailed them....they are helpful. It is just hard to communicate how to weave via computer. I'm a hands on learner. Thanks for the info I will checkout those sites. Barbara
