It's been a beautiful, breezy 74 degrees in my part of Georgia today. Now that the pine pollen is behind us, I spent the afternoon scrubbing my screened porches and patio furniture. My scrub bucket water looked like yellow soup by the time I finished. I'm so glad that nasty chore is DONE!

The reward is that I'm about to go sit in my sewing room with the door wide open. Our lower screened porch is right off my sewing room, so I can stitch bug-free. It's a good thing - because the mosquitoes really seem to like me!

I am dreaming of visiting all of you. Your houses and days sound so nice. I too would love to see some photos of your sewing room Teresa.

Well, 10:30 Pm and I just finished planting the tomato starters that Dad gave me [No I don't normally plant by the light of the moon, we got started watching Titanic on TV and I had to finish watching it before I could go home.
Anyway, it's beautiful out and I opened the windows to let the nighttime breeze come through. There's another storm coming and the first rain is supposed to be tomorrow morning.
The temps may drop again.
Weird weather!

I love sleeping with the windows open on a night and listening to the crickets and the rain, it's nature's Lullaby. Only problem is right now is it's too hot. I can't wait for autumn (my favorite season).

I have had the living room window open for 24 hours now. It is so nice in the living room right now. I would rather be outside but with a sick kiddo I need to keep her comfy on the couch :(

Alee, I hope Nora is feeling better.

Kathy, I too love sleeping with windows open, for me not only crickets and rain are a lullaby but the bull frogs too!

Oh our windows are open today even though a bit breezy. Ahhh the scent of Apple Blossoms and Alfalfa :)
