Hey gals,
I know we have all had some major things happen in our lives and we should certainly be able to ask for prayers. I do think sometimes that some of the folks on here need a little bit of prayer to help them through a rough day, or just anything really, but they feel odd asking in an entirely separate thread. I dont think anyone questions a thread for an illness or any major event. I would just like this thread to be for little everyday things that we need to get through. You can post whatever you like and those who wish to can just pipe in and pray.
When I pray each night I like to add prayers for those who think there is no one to pray for them or care for them and who feel like life is at its darkest.
I wish for my family and friends to have everything they need and most of what they want.
Glory be to the Father, to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. |

Robin, thanks for starting this. I do need prayer for my daughter. Her and her husband have been sepatated since before Thanksgiving last year. They just got back together and have just moved into a new place with my granddaughter, Kansas. I would like to ask for prayer that they would be able to work things out and talk about their problems. Both need to go to AA too. Also prayer for protection for Kansas. She'll be 7 the end of April. She's never really lived near other kids before. She has 2 older sisters that get to come every other weekend. So she's like an only child. There is a little girl her age in the little trailor park. I am happy about that. I will just worry about her going to other people's houses now. I know how kids are and there are lots of boys there.

Praying for Kansas and you DD and sil Kris. I have a prayer request. Our school is going through accreditation this week with our visitng team and we have been working towards it for over 3 years. We are bit nervous so prayers would be welcome for patience and courage as we have them here for 3 days.

Tammy, I will pray it goes through for you all. That's alot of work to get ready for that.
Thanks for all the prayers. They really do need it.
My step son is really depressed. He is 36 and has so many health problems and is worried now that he'll not leave his family anything if something happens to him. He can't work and is on disability now.

Kristin, Depression is awful, they feel so helpless and sad and have very low self esteem. My son has it and so do a few people I know. I wish it was as simple as to say get up an run, it will get better. They just can't see it. He is in my prayers. Your daughter and her family as well.
Robin, thanks for starting this post. I think it's a great idea, we can all use prayer. sometimes more than others.
I would like to ask for prayers for my step-daughter. She just had her 2ad baby 2 months ago and is not getting along well with the baby dad. Plus she has a beautiful 3 yr. old son, who is yelled at and placed in time-out more than he should be. They believe he understands what he did wrong, but he keeps saying am I being good? Do I need to go to the corner? I breaks my heart. He can't even walk in front of the TV with out getting in trouble. Plus they just got evicted from their home they were renting, They did find a place but it's his uncles so if anything was to happen she would be the one leaving and have to find another place to live. Yep they need prayer..

Diane, that is so sad. Poor little guy. I pray they will be able to work things out and learn to get along for the children's sake. I don't think they realize what this does to kids.

| My brother could use some prayers. He has a similar neck problem to mine and also needs to have his neck fused. Surgery is May 4th. He is in incredible pain on a daily basis. He was shot many years ago and has had so many health problems since then. Please pray for him. |

Thank-you all for your prayers, Now I am not allowed to see my little grandson because for the past few visits he did not want to leave. I'm praying we get him on Sunday.
