I always think of my sisters and the problems so many of them and their families have. When I read some of the health problems and the other things that happen to people just to say I ask for Gods grace for all in need each and every day many times a day. Gods grace and blessings be with each and every one who needs it now and always. Lilly

The granddaughter of one of my good friends is having heart surgery tomorrow (Friday) at 10 AM. She is 6 years young. Please pray for her. This will be her second heart surgery. Thank you all. Marly

My brothers surgery went well today and he is healing. Lots of pain, but hopefully that will pass soon. The neck fusion seems to be a success, but we just need to see if it stops the pain. Thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers. |

Robin, thanks for letting us know about your brother. I will pray for a quick recovery and that it works and he is out of pain.
Could I please ask for prayer for my hubby? He drives a truck and was home yesterday til noon today. But we have so much to do around here it was nonstop for him. And he is not in the best health. Plus he's diabetic and forgot his meds in his truck. Not a good thing. So yesterday he did some weed eating. Til dark. Then this morning he did more for about 1 1/2 hours. Then started working on the mower to sharpen the blades. Lots of up and down on the hard pavement and in the sun and it was HOT today. Then he had to hurry up and get to his truck to be in Blairesville Ga. in a few hours. And he was pure mean and ugly to me! I was doing all I could to help him and he just snapped at everything I did. Or didn't do. I know it's because he was in a hurry and the heat and all that and not taking his meds. But still. Then he was really shaking before he left. His blood sugar was over 300. Then later tonight he called and said he was having pain down both legs. Probably because of the way he was having to lay while fixing the mower. Anyway, sorry this is so long, but wanted to explain why he needs prayer. Thank you all so much.
Oh, Robin, that reminded me of when my DD was little. She loved feeding our chickens and one day stuck some corn up her nose! We could not get it out and had to take her to the ER. She was always doing something and ending up there.

Kristin,
Prayers sent. Blood sugar issues are so hard. Can he leave a few days worth at home for times like this? I hope he feels better after his meds kick in.
This was the first time Nigel tried anything like that... I hate this insurance commercial on tv and thats a little boy shoving things in his nose and ears......If little one needs to go the the ER I am suing them! |

I took my grandson home the other day. They moved into there new home on a month to month rent, I told him we were going to mcdonalds first, but he just cried and kept saying please gramma please let me stay with you. I said but you have a new room and your dog misses you an so does mommy, but he just cried and said all I can do is sit and wait sit an wait, sit & wait ect.... When I dropped him off we went to his room and I said oh how nice ect...but he said please gramma please let me go with you. I told his mom it was up to her but she said she was going to take him to the park so I told him look out the window and I'll beep bye bye, We were both crying but I had to leave...3 hours later I had my husband call to see how he was doing and she said oh we are going to go to the park soon....They never went..
I have to keep the peace so I can keep him on Sundays, Mondays & Tuesday mornings...
Thanks for your prayers, Thank- God I can still see him.
Hope all your days are Sunnydays. dianebcarterhotmailcom.blogspot.com |

Roxy, that is a great idea. Thanks. I will have to tell him to leave some here just in case. He was in Atlanta and had to get his DOT physical and he passed it. I don't know how but I guess he got his BS levels down to a good reading. Enough to pass anyway. I am thankful for that. He wants to retire but he just can't right now.
Diane, I know how that is to have to keep the peace with someone you just don't like just to be able to see your grands. We have an ex SIL we have to "be nice to" too. I do not like him at all. I hope it all works out for your little one.
Kris

Nigels tests are tomorrow. He has a cough, so we are hoping that all goes well. Prep is going to be hard. I feel awful that my 4 year old has to endure an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. Please keep him in your thoughts today and tomorrow. |

Nigels tests have been postponed because of the cough. Apparently its not a good idea for a little one especially to undergo general anesthesia with any sort of cough. Now we go June 8th. |

Robin, I'll be praying. I put a post-it in may calendar to remind me that day as well. Utimately, I will pray for total healing before he ever has to have any tests. staci |

how is your brother progressing?
My mom could use your prayers. She had knee replacement March 29th but isn't getting the mobility the doctor would like to see. He is now talking about putting her under again and basically man-handling her knee into the bend he wants her to achieve. This will tear the scar tissue built up in her knee and then with very intensive PT she should be able to continue from there. This will be very painful and also extend the time she will be off work. thank you - staci |

Staci, My neighbor is having knee surgery in a few months. At my neices wedding I met a friend who had double knee surgery. She said she was glad to have have done them both at the same time because if she didn't there was no way she would of done it again. I hope your mom is doing better I'll keep her in my prayers.
