I've got a bag of about 350 Christmas cards, all used, from the mid-70's. They vary from religious images to animal/woodland scenes to holly hobbie-ish types of drawn images. There are all kinds. But if you make card crafts with your kids, they're perfect. Or you can use almost all of them as postcards by cutting off the front and sending it using postcard stamp.

I don't know what shipping would be, but if it's more than a few dollars, I'd split it with someone.

The hubby appears to be allergic to my latest messes so I'm cleaning out every nook and cranny. (It's really pollen, but he won't believe it.) If I find anything else that might be useful, I'll let you know.

Ooh, I'd be interested in the Holly Hobbie-looking ones, but not really any of the others. Would you be willing to separate those out?

I probably have some fabric I could swap with you for it, if you're interested. (Some that you could use for your sandwich wraps.)

Let me know.

Just to let you know, they're not really holly hobbie, just real cute and sort of big-headed. Maybe that's more like precious moments than holly hobbie. I may have mis-spoken. I can take a photo of a bunch though tomorrow and link it so you can see if you like those.

Hello Allison,
I'm intreseted in your cards. Not sure what I have to swap you but would be willing to pay for postage. What would you be intrested in swaping for?

Pray for our troops to come home safe and soon.

My photo links aren't working but the geek will be home to fix it later. I have pics of some of some different kinds of cards so I'll get them up as soon as I can. I'll be out all day tomorrow so I hope it will be tonight.

Ketee - there are basically a handful maybe 20 of the child-like ones. There are actually two labelled holly hobbie BTW.

Betty Jo - I'd be glad to send the bulk to you.

I'm always looking for torn or stained vintage linens to make things out of so I don't cut up nice things. But I'm also looking for lettuces, mustards, cabbages, greens seeds for microgardening. If you don't have any of those things - no worries! I'd just like to pass these on. I'll know how much shipping the big bunch is tomorrow. The smaller batch will fit in a mailer so don't worry.

Thanks,
Allison

Hello Allison,
I have some linens that I sold someone on E-bay a while back that they never sent money for. Some table clothes that I would gladly send you. I'm not even sure what they look like. I will take a look Wed. When I get to our new place (all ready move then packed still) and get back to you. I also have old pillow cases that are ripped but the tadding and embrodering is still good. I saved them as they were to pretty to throw out. Any use for them?

Pray for our troops to come home safe and soon.

Absolutely! That would be wonderful, Betty Jo!

I can send out the cards anytime. I will pull out the few that Katee might want. Email me your address.

I'd definitely LOVE them Allison, I'll email you my address. I have some fabric I think you'd like in my stash, so email me your address back, okay? (It's not a LOT of fabric, but I think it could work for your wraps.)

Oh, I just emailed you, but if you can, the pillowcases would be great, too. I feel like you're sending things worth so much more than 300 or so Christmas cards!

Hello Allison and Katee,
I found the fabric amongst my packed boxes and there is three table cloths with about 40's style maybe a tad newer, florals (Roses pink and yellow) and two white ones, all look and feel to be cotton (I think).
At the moment I can't find the pillow case they are either packed for our move or all ready moved. But When I find them I'll let you 2 know. It may take a month or two as we are moving our business and household this next month and I start a new job in two weeks. Allison I will ship fabric Monday or Tuesday if you want it. If you don't hear from me don't worry I'm just busy but will get back to you.

Pray for our troops to come home safe and soon.

Mailed off your box of cards Saturday. Just don't worry; whenever you get a chance, I'd love to play with your linens, but it's no hurry at all. And send the pillowcases and whatever you can to Katee; you're sending plenty to me, you dear.

Enjoy the cards!
