I am so happy that I'm a little sick to my stomach! I can not believe it is over! Aria's treatment is truly and officially done! Her port was removed a few hours ago and she is home taking it easy...scarfing down her favorite Chinese food! What a relief to have this surgery behind us. It really is the end and now has a nicely tied beautiful bow on this chapter of our lives!

I have said this many times, but I would never have been able to turn a page and take another step if it wasn't for this place to write my thoughts, share my perspective and invite you along. It has made all the difference. Once again, on my knees I give you my praise and my regard.

THANK YOU so very very very much!

All my love and light, ~julia

Wow, this is terrific!! It must of felt sometimes like this day would never get here for her. I am so happy for Aria and your whole family. A celebration of life is sure in order. If ever I feel like a pity party, I think of what this sweet girl has gone through, and that ends it in a quick hurry! What a blessing. I am just so so happy for all of you!!

Love and Hugs MJ

julia and aria, i am so delighted its over. when the port goes a weight is lifted from our very being. isnt it? i lived the last 8 years getting infusions on iron. i had to go 2 and 3 times a week at first. my hemaglobin was 4 when i started infusions. the docs said i should have been dead then and there. gads so here i am. no infusion for 8 months. like a whole new world has opened up for me. being homebound has its ups and downs. BUT the joy of no port.no infusion no pain and nausea no appt. not being sick after not having to sit there for hours. it was great getting to know all the fine folks there. they are angels themselves BUT i would rather be farming. what are arias favorite things to do? i truly am happy for you all. i know it was a long hard uphill fight for a long time. now just breath. sometimes i forget how hard it all was. then i am reminded by fine people like you. i get on my knees and remember how i got here and i just BREATH in the joy of life around me. happy days in your home love to you sherrye
