Yes - great job Kristina and CJ - I love the towel holder and frame. Oh, and the pin cushions - so cute...

I need some ideas I have 2 baby cribs with the drop side. They are no longer safe for the kiddos and the kiddos are in big beds. One is white and the other is the Jenny Lynde style in brown. I also have the bedding and all too. The bedding will go to the thrift but the beds are needing to go into another plan. Diana

My work has a Kruerig coffee maker in all 3 of our stores. I've asked the owner to save the k-cups for me. I have been using them to start seeds. He thinks I'm nuts!

Another idea for lint...those of you who have fire places and old fashioned wood stoves make fire starters...get dyer lint, card board egg cartons and parrafin wax. place lint in where the eggs would go in the egg carton. melt wax. pour melted wax over lint leaving some of the lint sticking out so you can light it when you start your fires. let cool. cut the sections out and you have 12 fire starters. leave the fire starters in the individual egg sections. when you start your fire, fill with kindling, newspaper and light with your fire starter.

How cute! Last night after hemming pants for my son, I wanted to sew something else. I went through a stack of vintage linens and clothing items I purchased at an auction. I found a cute although very plain sleeveless shirt. It's yellowed with age, but serviceable so I made a clothes pin bag out of it! I will post a picture as soon as I get home from work this evening.

I had some broken jewelery that I decided to re-create into new jewelery....
I combined some turquoise, pearls, amethyst and Aurora Boralis beads to make a 'new' necklace & bracelete. Wish the photo had come out better, but you get the idea.

I save the wrappers from my favorite soaps --- Greenwich Bay Trading and South of France brands --- and place them between my clean sheets. I fold my sheets and store them inside a matching pillowcase, then slide a soap wrapper inside. The sheets and the linen closet smell lovely, with scents of lavender, shea butter, and jasmine.

I'm making envelopes from Currier & Ives calendars from the 1950s. It's a nice change of pace to my normal hobby of quilting.

They measure 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Not huge but I perfect for a quick note to a friend!

Wow ladies so many great ideas. I had a mirror which broke in our recent move to the city so I took out the broken pieces as the frame was just to nice and I put a store bought cork board in the frame and covered it with fabric and it now hangs in our kitchen . I already have it covered with coupons, important telephone numbers, seed packs and such. Next up is to make some matching push pin by using buttons.
hugs, -missy-

DH took down a baby gate at the top of the stairs. DD is ten, and our dog has figured out how to open it. I just thought today about using it in the garden as a trellis. I agree with Lorena, use that crib as a trellis, or maybe create a quilt rack out of it?
Some beautiful, inspiring projects, girls.
