Found this in a little cook book I own called
May Jane's Cookbook----- No it isn't Our Mary Jane, lol
Thought you would enjoy it

What did you do all day?
(husband)"What did you do all day?"
I didn't wash the dishes.
And I didn't make the bed,
Your clothes are
Where you left them--
I sat all day and read.
I overlooked the ironing,
The wash and mending too.
As far as I am concerned
There's not a thing to do.
Your supper isn't ready
And the toys are in the way
And that my darling husband,
is what I didn't do
All day. lol, hugs sheila

That is truly funny! My husband wonders now and then what I do all day since I retired but I gave up on trying to explain...instead I just say, "Nothing!" If he can't see the clean clothes on the shelf and vacuum lines in the carpet..well, enough said! Even on days that I really don't do anything I'm always busy! Reading, sewing, knitting, looking out the window, napping, playing with the cats, walking around the yard...things that just lose their meaning if they have to be explained!

Count your blessings!

HA! HA! Too funny! Course during the work week my DH doesn't dare ask...I'm a teacher! I would likely get that on the weekends! I tell him that I am planting flowers! That's not really what I'm doing! Sometimes when he says that, I look at him, and he knows what my response will be and will say it before I do!

That is too cute!! Somedays I wonder what I did get done! Every once in a while I take a day to work on projects and play with the dogs. Just doesn't happen often enough. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed it.
Blessings,

Sharon
