Work on Merit badges together?? I think it would be soo much fun to have a group of ladies and we could work on diffrent or the same badges and get diffrent ideas and things. What do you think?? I would really like to start earning some after Esther has her babies. :)

Channah, I just printed out all the merit badge requirements and found out that a lot of them I can already apply for beginner and some I am at intermediate stage! Do you have the copies of the requirements? I am sure you can apply for some of them too! I am going to go through them and make a folder for each one that I am working on, etc... Let me know which ones you want to work on and we can support each other. I am really going to tackle a bunch after my garden is in.

I was wondering about that, Diane. There are a lot of them that I could apply for that I've already done, but for some reason I am under the impression that we have to redo things we've already done in the past in order to apply for them, right? So, I can't just take pictures of a previous stitching project and say I completed a level right?

I don't know, I am looking into that. If anyone knows about previous projects being submitted, let us know!

We would really like projects to be done specifically for the badges we are submitting for. The reason is, that many of us have done some of these over our lifetime, but when we re-do them for the badges, it gives us another opportunity to really look at them and appreciate them in a new way. Maybe even learn a new or different way. I personally think that the badges hold more value when we go through them one by one and create something that is specific to that badge. Hope this answers that question for you...

Channah~ we have formed a thread called "Wanna Form a Badge in" where we are working on badges together for anyone that may want to join in... We are currently deciding what our APRIL project should be. http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/snitz/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=37852&whichpage=7

so would you ladies like to start a new thread or no? I was thinking of starting after we get our gardens done and after Esther has her babies. So maybe in the summer time because then I will have lots of time for things!

Sounds good Channah, After the garden is in I will have some time too! I am just looking over all of them to see which ones I will be starting and what I need to keep track of along the way.
