Just curious :)

We are having:

~Roast Leg of Lamb with a Red Currant, Garlic and Thyme Glaze
~Roasted Asparagus with Garlic
~Sweet Potato Casserole with Praline Topping (My husband HAS to have this even though I would rather make something lighter)
~Honey Pan Rolls

I am experimenting for dessert:

~St. Clement's Meringue Pie (this is similar to Lemon Meringue but has grated orange & lemon rinds and juice in the filling)

Sooooo, what are you gals having? Inquiring minds want to know

Oh Yum!

You girls have some great sounding dinners planned :)

Teresa, what is Heaven Cake? What is in your Twisted Hotspice Roll recipe? They sound interesting.

Annika, I have yet to try making a Flourless Chocolate Cake, I have had the privelege of tasting some though :)

Sharon, Heaven cake is a yellow 2 layer cake with a pineapple/cherry whipcream iceing center and a whipcream outer iceing with pineappl/cherry garnish, its like a slice of heaven, hence the name.
The twisted hotspice rolls are a standard dinner roll recipe , except I add chopped hot chilli's and wee bit of sharp cheddar cheese, roll it out to about 1 in diameter and 5-6 ins long, fold it over and twist, bake until browned.

Sharon...Can I come?

We are headed to my dear mother-in-law's home up North from us for Glazed Ham with all the trimmings.

I am going to bring my famous Feather Beds----Potato rolls, that I have been told will live in my families memories long after my demise.

Funny family....

I am going to my Aunt's house this Sunday and we are having Pasta, Salad, Cheesball, and some desserts (I'm sure). This is her grandson's first Easter and I'm looking forward to going!

Usually, My mother-in-law makes Easter dinner either at home in Cincy, or in Indy at my sil's house. This year, because she made Thanksgiving and my sil and her family are in limbo due to building a new house, we are all going to some banquet place.

When my mil cooks, I usually eat a vegetarian Easter because I don't eat lamb (sorry, girls, just can't bring myself to do it) and I'm quite happy with that. Probably this time, I'll end up with some really dry ham :)

I've been trying to get to the grocery store all day yesterday and today and social events keep springing up to prevent me. Oh well, it's been fun visiting with my cousin from out of town and going to a surprise 40th birthday party. I've got hot cross buns for breakfast tomorrow, and if I get to the store after all we'll be having scalloped potatoes with asparagus for supper. Otherwise, it'll be jelly beans and ramen noodles!

Haha! Nothing big and fancy here. We live really far from family and my husband will be working (cop, that's just how it goes), so my 4 year old and I will have egg salad sandwiches! Gotta use up all those colored eggs sometime, right? Happy Easter everyone!!

We're having a homestyle meal;
Ham, cured at a local butcher shop
Cheesie baked potatoes, my sister's specialty
Green bean casserole, daughter's boyfriend loves them
Mixed fresh fruit salad
Deviled eggs
Hawaian rolls
Raspberry shortcake, with the last of our frozen raspberries from this past summer. Now that the leaves are opening on the plants it seems to be really appropriate
