I am new to knitting and have two patterns that call for Stockinette stitch. Does anyone have any resources where I can learn this stitch? I am teaching myself to knit, so any help or web links would be greatly appreciated!

Well, stockinette stitch is K1 row, P1 row. In other words, Knit one row and Purl one row. Let me know if that makes sense to you?

Thank you so much Betty and Karrieann!!! I know how to both knit and purl so because of your instruction and video link I'm on my way to making my first pair of slippers (one of my patterns with Stockinette stitch)!
