I purchased a stack of vintage Antique magazines...and in one, a May 1963 issue there is an article about the "Garvie & Wood patent Musical Sewing Machine" called a Dulciphone(1885) it's basicly a paper grind reed type organ. It could be adapted to any treadle type sewing machine... Wowzers! just think, "mom" could sew by day and make music by night!...in her spare time of course! lol!

What a concept, Grace! Poor old mom had to add musician to her list of jobs! Workhorse by day and entertainer by night. I wonder if any of those things survived.
