....I have time today to sit and chat....can you tell? It is just so nice to visit with all of you, and I am so thankful that I can. I also make greek yogurt...if you've never had it, it is verrrry thick almost the consistancy of sour cream, maybe a little thicker..Rather than buy the Greek Yogurt, which is on the pricey side, but worth it..I just get 2 large containers of Dannon Unflavored Plain Yogurt.
in a strainer/over a large bowl lined with cheescloth,or coffee filters I pour the 2 containers into the strainer. The liquid drains off ( I think this is called the whey) I leave it in the fridge a couple of hours drain off the whey and we have delicious greek style like yogurt...which my boys really like w/granola..mm mm good...

oooh..Now I suppos I may have to give that a try..looking at it from a snack angle rather than a desert angle...a little salsa would be good too..I am making myself hungry! Thank you for the

I cut fresh chives and add it to my greek yogurt. Put it on crackers. It is yummmy. Vicki

I make my own and often use the greek as my starter. It is not usually that thick but it is still good. I add ground up flax and hemp, but mostly I eat it plain.
