I'm sure some of you have heard about the tragic crash on an interstate in KY when a tractor trailer plowed into a van and 11 people died -
The deceased are the John and Sadie Esh family. They used to live down the road from us in NC; in an Amish community. My mom was friends with Sadie. Only the two youngest survived; their 2 adopted children in their car seats. My mom is all torn up about it. It is really, really sad and tragic.

My prayers go out to the family and their friends. What an awful loss.

Prayer costs nothing, but is worth the most.

When I heard about it .. I was traumatized and I didn't even know the family, I can imagine your mom being torn up about it.. especially for the two children. God be with them and your mom and everyone touched by this tragedy.

Be a blessing and have a Happy Spring

Just so sad :( I saw the beginning of this story as it broke in the news, but didn't know any details about the family in the van. I am so sorry for the loss and pray that the Lord will give you and your mom peace. The only picture I saw from the crash was a back seat with two very intact car seats sitting on it and I thought, thank Heaven, there are two little babes who survived, but it pains my heart to know that they are now alone again as they must have once been before they were adopted. That is just so tragic. I pray that the Father will have mercy on them and find them a beautiful home to grow up in where they will be loved tremendously and held in the comfort of knowing that this is not their lot in life, to lose their loved ones and be left alone over and over. Poor babies....what a tragic loss for them and everyone who knew this family :(

I saw that on the news tragic an sad is an understatement. I believe everyone who heard about this accident feels sad, but knowing them personally has to be harder. Your mom and the families of all are in my prayers.

I am so sorry for the loss.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.
