I was born on Mother's Day, 1969 (5-11-'69). My mom was disappointed when she went was having pains that morning because she wanted to go to church and get one of the flowers that they give out. But she got ME instead! I've wondered if her desire for a rose that day was why I was "blessed" with red hair and green eyes. ;)

PS..She still got her flower.

Oh, what a sweet story! I was born right before the close of the year, and I was always my father's Little Tax Deduction. Two days old, and I got him the deduction for the whole year.

Tami, where in Indiana is Hartford City? I was born and raised a Hoosier. Indiana is one of the most beautiful and underappreciated places on earth.

What a sweet story Tami! Ohhhh lucky you, red hair & green eyes! Such a lovely combination! My oldest son was born on my Father in Law's birthday...said it was the best present he ever got!

That's a cute story. I was born three days before my Mom's birthday, so I was her early birthday present. Can't ever forget her birthday.
