wow i should have done this years ago!they are so darn cute i can't hardly stand it.lol.i have 6 new babies.2 americana,2 barred rocks and 2 i have no idea,lol,have to wait until they feather out.i just forgot what the girl at the feed store said they were,lol.i really do not care,they are adorable.i can already tell who is the boss,my americana for sure.i named her Bossy.she rules the brooder right now.hubby and i picked out our coop design tonight,so i can not wait to get it done.thanks to you girls who gave me the courage to try my hand at this.it has been a blast.can't wait until the rest of the adventure unfolds.

Congradulations I love getting new chicks. It's like Christmas when I go to the post office and pick up my box of chicks.

Am curious if they are sexed. Chicks are so addictive. The feed store knows I would buy each chick they have if I could house them all. By the way I am so in love with Jersey Giants and the dark chocolate coloured eggs they lay, since I blow the eggs in order to make tree ornaments. And my French hens, get to come inside my cottage. ~Beth~

Hi.. I have four laying hens and get four eggs a day which is plenty for my husband and I. It is so much fun having chickens..not ownly are they a joy to observe and have roaming around the property they provide great eggs...enjoy your new adventure !
