Do ya'll remember that rottweiler pup I took to the humane society two weeks ago that I was just heartbroke over?
Well I haven't seen him listed on this particular shelter's website and curiosity got the better of me. I just got off the phone with the manager and this is what she told me.
Danny was a little too high strung to keep at their shelter so they were able to place him with a local rottweiler rescue shelter. And they have been able to place him in a home! Danny has a new name. She couldn't remember it but believes it starts with "B". He went to his new home yesterday in Terre Haute. That's quite a haul from here, but she told me about the couple that adopted him and they sound wonderful! I am soooo happy for him.
While I am still a little sad to not have him here, I am so much more happy for him. I am thrilled that he has found such a wonderful home where he will be able live forever. And I feel much more relieved about my decision to take him to the shelter.

Melanie, that's such good news for him. I hope he has a very happy life with his new people. They are very high strung dogs. I remember the one I had for a few hours! And the Irish Setter. And the Great Pyrenese. Never again! And now my Yellow Lab Bubba. Ain't dogs fun?

Hi!
I am so happy for you. You both have been on my mind since your last post. Think of what a happy home he has, and how happy you made the couple who have adopted him. You have a great heart...BIG HUGS to you. Love a happy ending!

I LOVE happy endings for our beloved misplaced animals! Danny will thrive and is so deserving of the best of the best!! My daughter and I rescued an injured cat (tried to get out of his collar and it got caught under his front leg, doing serious damage) Many nights I sat and cried wondering how I was going to catch him....he was so afraid and in pain, he wouldn't make up to us. My daughter named him Angelo. With the help of Animal Control, we caught him after 3 months. He had several surgeries (Vet contributed 2 out of the 4!!) and a lady I know who is disabled has given Angelo a loving forever home! We see him weekly and he is so beautiful and happy!! Danny and Angelo!! Wonderful and isn't God good to guide us to help His creatures!! Hugs, Lin
