Wow! Those are some awesome coops! My coop is just a 6'x8' with popular boards,board and batten style with a 8'x17' run out in front. Nothing fancy.As long as we don't have 2 foot of snow my chickens spend most of their time pickin around the yard,.. with my 5 pekin ducks. Anybody else have ducks???
Nice to see how others are constructing their coops. I've just decided to remodel our old backyard swing set into a chicken coop. My son had long outgrown it and structurally it's still sound, so I'll just have to take off the parts I don't need and remodel the rest so they'll have nest boxes and such.
I'm thinking I'll paint it red with white trim when it's finished and put a window box with flowers under the window. Since I live in the burbs, I'm hoping that if it looks pretty the neigbors won't complain!
