My husband is just getting serious into leatherwork. He would love it! But what to trade? I need to clean out my cookbooks....I have lots of Taste Of Home year end hardback cookbooks. There's a pair of spurs that he traded some chaps for, but they are too short in the shanks for his taste. Pretty blued steel, good condition. He's got some perfect tooling leather that would work up into nice spur straps. One piece. And his stamping is getting much better.
I'll go put some of his work on my blog, later this evening.

alright, thankx. I'll work on the photo. It looks like a thinner, more supple leather, so probably 3 or 4 grain.

My better half is 1/4 Souix and he makes handcrafted knives with deer antler handles with beaded sheaths, bows and arrows, pipes and other native American crafts.Would trade a nice knife and sheath for the skin. I have a lot of books, also. What do you like? He has over 200 paperback westerns, also, several Louis Lamour. |
