This is the one that's in almost every corner of my husband's grandparents' home. They are as Irish as they get, each having mother's and father's who immigrated to Cincy.

May joy and peace surround you,
Contentment latch your door,
And happiness be with you now
And bless you evermore.

If I had a single flower,
for every time I think about you,
I could walk forever in my garden.

This one is so silly and cute I had to share it!

May your feet never sweat,
your neighbour give you ne're a treat.
When flowers bloom, I hope you'll not sneeze,
and may you always have someone to squeeze!

I really love this one, it is a family favourite!

May God grant you many years to live,
For sure he must be knowing.
The earth has angels all too few.
And heaven is overflowing.

These are my favorite:

May God give you...for every storm, a rainbow, for every tear a smile, for every care, a promise, and an answer for every prayer.

May God grant you always...
A sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering Angel
so nothing can harm you.
Laughter to cheer you.
Faithful friends near you.
And whenever you pray,
Heaven to hear you.

"Treat the earth well, it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children"

May those that love us, love us
and those that don't love us
May God turn their hearts
if He can't turn their hearts
May he turn their ankles
so we'll know them by their limping.

I posted this on the SOB topic, but wanted to share again.

May you have no frost on your Spuds,

No worms on your cabbage.

May your goat give plenty of milk.

If you inherit a donkey, may she be in foal.

Don't walk in front of me I may not follow.

Don't walk behind me I may not lead.

Walk beside me And just be my friend.

We put this one on our Christmas letter last year, it's by far my favorite!

May you always have work for your hands to do.

May your pockets hold always a coin or two.

May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.

May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.

May the hand of a friend always be near you.

And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
