There's a picture of me (and my dog) modeling an apron that Susan (Soapmaven) made for me for the apron exchange on my blog (you'll have to scroll down some).
I did, and that's sooooo cute! How cool is it to see us wearing/holding things we've given each other? |

You know Lorna, now that you mention it, I see that, too. Well, you sure were standing under the right part of the sky when the pretty rained down.
If that's not a quaint old country saying somewhere, let's pretend it is, because it should be, for instances just such as this. So there.

Okie dokie, thought I would drum this up again for the newbies and add an updated photo that hubby took today. Can you see the stress in my face? I sat down to take a breather as I was preparing for my Mom's Birthday party today!
I am sporting a new doo.....I have always liked me better with shorter hair. Hubby finally agreed it compliments my face more....
Cheers,

Pretty again, Lorna -- that's a nice cut!
We have exactly the same wrought iron stand for bird feeders out by our front porch. That dish feeder on the left hook is cool. Is it hand-made? |

Jessie, I think I remember when I first started using PhotoBucket to post pictures here, it was necessary to use the same password there as here. Your can use a different log-on name, though. I use "Rosemary_Farmgirl" so I don't wind up opening a back door for ya'll to my boring business photos, for which I use a different log-on identity.
Somebody correct me if I'm handing out bogus info, okay? I'm just trying to save Jessie some of the frustration I went through. Of course, she may be waaaaaay smarter than I am! ;-) |

you don't have to use photobucket- you just have to upload them to the web and you just need to find someplace that will let you do that. I believe Gabe suggested Photobucket because it is relatively easy to do. I will put together a photobucket tutorial as soon as Nora is done nursing... :)

Well, what I discovered was that when I posted a link to the PhotoBucket account I use for business, according to Gabe's FAQ instructions, and I clicked on the link to be sure it worked, PhotoBucket wouldn't let me into the new FarmGirl account I'd opened with a different name & password. When I changed the password to the same one I use here, I had no problem. Coulda been an Internet hiccup, though; who knows? It made no sense to me that something like that would've happened, but there you go! |

Rosemary-
Since you should just be posting a link to the photo- the passwords shouldn't matter at all. I would assume it was an internet hiccup. The only reason you need to use a place like photobucket is a place to "hold" the photos. The forum doesn't have enough storage room to become a warehouse for all the photos. By uploading to a place like a free webhosting server or photobucket, you are basically getting a unique URL name assigned to each photo. Then by using the [ img ] photo url here [/img ] format here on the forum, you are telling the forum to access that photo into the post.
I hope that makes sense! But again- the passwords matching is not needed and it was probably just a fluke that the glitch worked itself out when you changed passwords.

Thanks, Alee. I imagine it was a *hiccup* (ooh! excuse me! <blush>) -- maybe something haveing to do with my having too darn many things going at once on my computer, not to mention in my LIFE! |

Amy - what a beautiful girl you are! Love the photo.
In fact, everybody's so cute....and the pictures that people take of themselves are remarkably relaxed and pretty.
