It's been so much fun to scroll through all these wonderful pages. The thing that strikes me as so remarkable is how GOOD we all look! Clean livin' I guess ;-)

I was horrified to find that I don't have any recent pix of myself, so you all inspired to snap one at arm's length this morning so I could play, too. Here's li'l ol' me:

Hey Rosemary, I like your garden in the background, what a nice setting for your picture. You look fantastic for sure.

Oh, phooey! I can't find your photo! What do you suppose I'm doing wrong. Hmmm...maybe this is punishment for posting my picture just a while ago. Must've made snitz blow a fuse or something ;-)

Tracey, that's a photo worthy of Avedon! You need to have it blown up and transfered onto canvas or something. Just marvelous.

Jo, that's precious! I wonder how many of us have pictures of ourselves as little girls in dresses (ICK!) with expressions just like that on our faces. I know I have more than a few!

Corrine, I just saw you photos (from March) on the thread about what we all look like. You have an amazing serenity about you in those photos, a wonderful aura. Just had to mention that.

Rosemary, what cute earrings! I love them!!

There's a picture of me (and my dog) modeling an apron that Susan (Soapmaven) made for me for the apron exchange on my blog (you'll have to scroll down some).

I'm going to put up a fishing picture from vacation last week too--hopefully in a couple of hours. I've been busy this morning cutting, cleaning, getting ready to dry or freeze or infuse sugars, oils and vinegars with the herbs from my garden. So, not much computer time today.

Oh, thanks. They're by Tabra. I blew the rent money on 'em about 25 years ago. They're my favorites to this day.

I will post one after my black eye is gone from my fall off the ladder picking cherries. Just had surgery to fix the broken cheekbone, so obviously right now things don't look to great! LOL! What beautiful farmgirls you all are! I am so proud to call you my friends!

This is my little spring robin that gardened alongside of me waiting for me to toss her worms. She followed me wherever I went and would even check out the wheelbarrow to make sure I didn't miss one!

I love your photo (not to mention the cool tee shirt -- is that like a Celtic braid or something? Beautiful.) How did you come by this robin's affections? Did you rescue him? There MUST be a story there!

This is a picture taken of me on my birthday a month ago. I'm not very good at this, so hopefully it will show up for you.

Yay! I always like to see new additions to this thread. I've been on vacation, and look at the things you miss in a week!!!

This thread is a lot of fun! Very pretty and wholesome farmsgirls on here...and Lorna, you do look like Julia Roberts (only better!).

LOL Thanks! Everyone actually tells me I look like Geena Davis.
I was having a car inspected one time and had to show the guy my license to prove to him I was not her. You would think the fact that I was inspecting a 1974 Pinto might have given it away. I guess the car was my disguise....

i tried to make it work, but alas, I am not quite proficient enough yet. So if you want to see me, scarey, then here is a link to a photo on the web.

http://journals.aol.com/h2hheroes/herotohero/entries/2007/04/22/an-invitation-to-watch-it-burn-.../3417

It is photo 153 - just hit the back arrow a couple of times instead of going through the entire photo album she posted.
