| Terre mentioned that the "I Love Lucy" episodes have "disappeared from our world" even though there are reruns. What is your favorite "I Love Lucy"???? I love the one where Lucy, Fred/Ethel are going to raise baby chicks and they are all over the house when Ricky gets home. Also the one where Lucy/Ethel steal John Wayne's star off the Hollywood Walk of Fame or when Lucy gets sooo sunburned and models in a fashion show. Do you have a favorite?? |

My favorite is the one about the veta vita vegamin commercial. Lucy gets more than a little tipsy drinking a vitamin drink that contains alcohol. It is the all around classic, I bet. That one and the grape stomping show. I Love Lucy!

She's my favorite all time gal. I just love her show, then and now, it never gets old. Of course, I don't have cable or dish or direct or any of those other means than our local channels, but those shows are so memorable. Just the mention of them from your favorites bring up each episode in my mind.
When our youngest son was in 6th grade they had to do a skit for something and he and another friend picked the scene where they were working in a candy factory. It was hilarious. The had two other kids under the table pulling from a box of computer paper across the top of a table that had all their candy on it. They did an awesome job. We have it on tape and pull it out to watch every once in a while.
She had some great shows, the Indian maiden, when she announced she was expecting, when they turned their apartment into a hill billy shack for the paper, when she made rice and it exploded all over the kitchen, anytime she tried to sneak onto Ricky's show and on and on. I loved them all.

My very favorite is the baby chick one too!! I also love the one where she had a shceme to get money by charging groceries and doing the shopping for neighbors and keeping the cash they paid her.
I always loved that show. We don't have cable anymore for almost a year now so I don't get to see the reruns..always love them

I just HAVE to vote for the "veta vita vegamin commercial," too - SOOOOOooooooo funny!!!! I hadn't thought of these episodes in years!

OOH! I LOVE LUCY!!! Hmmm... I cant decide which is my favorite though...my grandparents have i think 6 or 8 I Love Lucy epidodes on tape, and every time I am sick, I go to their house and watch I love Lucy!!!!I really like the Choclate shop one, and the Vitameatavegamin!!My friend Nichole and I actually did our own Vitameatavegamin commercial!!!
