Ok, we've all been naughty lazy bones. Time to get back on track!

For 6-30 I guess I should have said 7/1.

1. Bake bread, make granola
2. clean kitchen
3. sew doll bodies
4. finish beading necklace
5. clean bathroom
6. start new beaded necklace
7. work on improved displays for Farmers Market.

The last few days have been mother-daughter time so the house has been a little neglected. So...

Plant irises I got for free from the lady that tends the mulch station in town. Pretty purple ones! - DONE
Get more mulch for the new flower/plant area.
Vacuum
Finish reading Montrose: Life in a Garden.
Laundry - at least 2 loads.
Clean the kitchen.

Where did the day go???

We are all a bit out of practice aren't we???? Maybe that just means we are super busy. Nice thought anyhoo.

I have been a busy busy bee today. I even got to sleep in a little. That was heavenly!

I put some base cabinets in the kitchen. Had to cut a section out of the back of one so the gas line would work into it.
Then we went to the big town to try to find a top for the cabinets and some paint. Well that was a bust.
Stopped at wally-world on the way back home and got school supplies and grabbed a bite for lunch.
Changed the linens on my bed and washed, dried and put them away.
Weed eated around the yard till I ran out of string.
Put a bunch of junk into the back room.
Washed a couple of sinkfuls of pretty dishes.
Moved the old pie safe from the kitchen to the living room. Not really liking where it wound up at. Will probably move it again tomorrow.
Set up trash pickup service to start next Tuesday.
Dad stopped by and finished weed eating for me. I sent him home with a couple of boxes of old photos.
Ate a little bite for dinner. We did our "fend for yourself" night. I think those are our favorites. LOL
Oh I nailed the fence wire back to the wood gate posts. And swept up all our grass trimmings and put them in the wagon to go in the compost pile tomorrow.
Have been checking out my farmgirl calendar to see who has b-days and anniversaries coming up. I have it printed out and ready to start on tomorrow.
And I've had my shower, yapped on the phone and am about ready for bed.

Hope ya'll have a great night and an even better tomorrow.

Hugs~ Melanie

Yesterday was a once in blue moon day, Mel.
Today I went to work for 2 1/2 hrs. Went to get some clothes for the kids for school and a couple of groceries and stopped by the PO on the way back home. Baked a chocolate cake. Sent mom home with a little table, some linens and her old pitcher and bowl. I have dinner on the stove and a load of wash in the washer. One more load to go and dishes to do. Then I think I will soak in the tub and maybe clean my room a little, very little. hahahhaa This is more my typical day.

Where's everyone at? Probably working on their To-Do Lists. heeheehee

Here's mine for 8/11 (some tihngs carried over fromm yesterday)

1. The kids first day back to school all three dropped off only one was a tad late, but it's always like that the first day around here.
2. finish hanging plants and water done
3. Clean blinds
4. finish washing mamaw's old dishes done
5. Make some calls done
6. go to the grocery store done
7. take out the trash done
8. clean for one client done
9. try to go through some more junk in the back room- it's supposed to be a scorcher again today so this one most likely will not get done as the back room is about 110 degrees in the afternoon.

Okay, I'll post the to-do list...

1. Laundry - Ongoing, one load hanging outside in the breeze!
2. Groceries - Done
3. Air out the house - As I type, I love when I can shut off the AC and have breezes wafting through the house
4. Decluttering - I keep doing 15 minutes at a time, just like Flylady.
5. Keep working on 'studio' - uhm, guess I need to get going on that one
6. Give final count for DD's birthday party - Done

BTW, I love your signature, Melanie! That's a great quote, words to live by!

4. Work on Lin's gift.
5. Decide on dinner for this evening.
6. If I get to it, cleaning out my craft room.

Let see how much I can get done.

So far for today (8/25): I have got the kids off to school and washed up the breakfast dishes, walked the dogs, straightened up the living room and made my bed.

I still have to:
1. go to the doctor- just a physical nothing major.- done get blood work done tomorrow and go back in two weeks BLUCK!
2. help my honey write a resume- silly boy already had one so i helped learn how to apply for jobs online
3. sort through more junk in the back room- didn't even touch it
4. maybe go into evansville and pick up some things I need to work on the house- paint and such yep didn't do this either
5. one more bat watch this evening well crud i didn't do this either

But I did.... go to the local re-sale shop and get an adjustable bed frame. Then I decided to start pulling the wavy paneling off the walls in my room. Boy is that a big mess! Stopped on that. Too much dust. And put my bed together.
