Anyone want to join with me in posting your chore list for the day? Maybe we can motivate each other to complete as much as we possibly can and inspire each other to do more. Plus, seeing this thread will get me back on task when I take a break to check new posts LOL! Will come back and delete lines as I finish and add more lines as I realize I have more to do.

(Not in order of importance)
1. Hang clothes line outside.
2. 2 loads laundry. Done
3. Empty and re-load dishwasher Done.
4. Finish cleaning up car seat for my friend Done.
5. Finish knitting romper for baby Jacob.
6. Plant Echinacea seeds
7. Scrub my new tub I found outside (if sunshine ever pops out today)
8. Sew pants for Truman Finished! I've gotta post a pic of these. I ended up making overalls instead and they are cute :).

OK...I had to post a picture of these little overalls I just finished. My husband got me a serger off craigslist for Christmas and this is my first attempt at using it. The overalls are made from the arms of a wool sweater (as a cloth diaper cover) that I got from the SA.

Siobhan, you are such a good seamstress! And Truman is so adorable! When you are finished knitting the romper will you post a picture? I would love to see it. I am finally venturing out of knitting the same style toboggan, and have begun knitting "leg warmers"-- it reminds me of the 80's. They are lime green!!

Lets see, I got off work early today and definitely need to pick up around the house and watch a few videos for an online course I am taking. And hopefully have a little extra time to work on the leg warmers later on. I picked up one of MJF magazines today at the Tractor Supply for one of my neighbors and need to deliver it.

That's so cute!!
My to-do list involved cutting as much cheese as I possibly could (at work, that's what I do, cut large wheels of cheese into small, affordable chunks) and I got a lot done so I can have a vacation in good conscience and have a fun to-do list, that starts tomorrow.
Very impressed with the amount you got done with three kids Siobhan!!

Wow! What a list.
But I feel good. On my three days off I have cleaned the bath [even scrubbed tub with natural cleanser] and kitchen. Mopped all floors, vacuumed rugs, did taxes, applied for two federal jobs [that takes HOURS!], got latest family research documents up off living room floor and into shelf for future sorting. Paid bills.
Still have to sew full apron,
make hussif,
organize middle room and
clean up old wood bureau for use as sewing and storage of odd bits.
Smiles!

Cute cute cute!! Truman and his overalls.
I cleaned another lady's house today, it's my job. heeheee I pulled out all the furniture in the living room and cleaned behind and under everything, dusted everything, helped set out all her easter decorations, polished the kitchen cabinets, cleaned the bathroom, laundry room and well the whole house.
Then I got the kids from school. Washed a couple of loads of laundry. Got Hallie to give Fat Max, the rabbit, a bath. Made dinner. And made my menu and grocery list for tomorrow.

Well, I didn't even get close to completing my list today. My husband came home at lunch time today and helped put the big boys to bed and I was looking forward to a quiet hour or two while they were all sleeping, but Truman must have been woken up by the sound of his voice. He had only been sleeping about 30 minutes. So, I lost that focus time and spent the rest of the afternoon trying to get as much accomplished as I could while trying to entertain Truman at the same time. Oh well...tomorrow is another day, right?

He does really good. We don't give him one very often, just when his hiney gets really narsty from sitting in his litter pan. Usually a damp rag will clean his bottom and he's a pretty clean guy most of the time. I think this makes his second "real bath" since we got him about a year ago. He's a sweetie, not a biter and only scratches if he thinks you might drop him.

My to-do list for today

1. go to work - spot clean at the apartment complex-done
2. grocery shopping-done
3. finish washing rugs-done
4. sweep living room and kitchen- done and I got the hallway and bathroom swept up too
5. dust living room and things in hallwaydone
6. scrub bathroom- i'm working with flylady so i really only have to do the sink today ;)done
7. try to find sometime to work on my projects
Oh and look for a maid to do half of this for me. LOL

Wow I have been kicking butt! It's not even 5pm yet. I need to start dinner in a minute. After dinner, wash dishes and then maybe I will finish putting the books away I bought at the library. Then shoot some hoops with the kids and maybe just maybe a little crafting before I hit the bed.

And now I have a new one! I'm goin to the thrift to look for a couple of men's ties and our library is wrapping up their annual book sale and now the books are a buck a bag. So I'm off! done and I spent way more money than I inteded. but I have a big ole' bag of books to keep me busy and a bag o' pretties.

Have a wonderful day ladies!!

Siobhan, Truman is adorable! And what a good job with the overalls.
Today list: Do Laundry, clean house, write some penpal letters, work on a sewing project, fix dinner, make some phone calls, and try to get outside some.
Well that wore me out just thinking about all I need to do. Better sit down with a cup of tea and read my MJ magazine.
Have a nice day.

Blessings, Brenda

Well I got the laundry finished and dinner fixed and wrote a couple of letters. But a friend from high school came by and we all just sat and visited and drank coffee. But time was not wasted, he brought use alot of laughs and that is GOOD! As Maratha would say. Next two days running to doctors and Friday need to take mom grocery shopping. So will try to get the rest finished in between everything else. I'm use to this, never know when I'll have to stop and do for mom. Tomorrow is a new day and we'll see!

Hi All,

It motivates me to see the list that my fellow farmgirls have to accomplish today! I have just recently starting organizing my chores, so this post comes just at the right time:

-Wash breakfast dishes and shine the sink. DONE
-Trim back berry bushes next to flower bed. DONE
-Wash, fold, and put away laundry.
-Clean bathroom mirror. DONE
-Tidy up my office desk.
-Bake up and divide my Amish friendship bread into starters for friends.
-Stock up on sunflower seed for the birdies.
-Transfer three recipes to cards in preparation for Farmgirl swap.
-Repair the clothesline; two of them fell down this winter due to the snow, so I'm down to only one.

For those who feel overwhelmed by keeping up on the house chores, the FlyLady site (www.flylady.net) has been very helpful to me in taking baby steps and developing routines :}.

Kylie

P.S. Happy upcoming anniversary, Siobhan! The little overalls that you made for Truman are too cute.
