Just a reminder: All December Mail Art should, at the very least, be in the mail by now. It appears that most everyone has received their mail art piece. It is my hope that everyone has or will by Christmas.

If you have NOT received mail art by the time your mail comes this Saturday, December 26th, please let me know.
Again, I thank all of you for your participation, sharing yourselves and your creativity and your farmgirl spirit of caring and encouragement!! It's been a FABULOUS, FUN year for MAIL ART!!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!

Patricia....I got your Wonderful Winter...Cozy Cabin Mail-Art yesterday and posted a lengthy Thank You on here and for some reason it didn't post. That is so strange! Anyway...I absolutely loved it!!! Thanks so much! If you took a picture of it please post it...as obviously my computer has some kind of brain damage. lol I knew it was getting OLD and difficult but that is the first time it wouldn't post a regular (non-picture) post.

Just a tip for the future. You didn't protect the Art work good enough and some of the pretty stones fell off and punched through the envelope and got lost in the mail. One or two were loose in the envelope and I glued those back on. It still looks very pretty...but be sure and use a bubble mailer for your Mail-Art or put two pieces of light weight cardboard around it or something. Then also...be sure and write on the envelope PLEASE DO NOT BEND! You are way too talented and put way too much work in your Art to have the Post Office ruin it. Again...if you can post a picture of it for me please do. One of these days I hopefully will get a new computer and be able to go back to posting pictures myself.

Blessed and so pleased with the cabin...I would love to go curl up in there with some Hot Choc., a fire in the fireplace (if it has one) and a good book and just watch it snow outside. Aaawwww! That would be Heaven,
~peggy

Good Morning! What gorgeous mail art everyone has created and received. Over the (very busy) weekend I was delighted to open my mail and see a beautiful piece of mail art from Lady Darcy (aka Country Girl). I will post a picture when I can, but I must describe the card, as it is in my favorite color (blue) with a crackle finish and with two of my favorite winter themes--snowflakes and snowmen. She also included a recipe for a relaxing chamomile tea which I can't wait to try. I love it! And yet another coincidence--Pride and Prejudice (Mr. Darcy) is one of my favorite books and movies. I just received a wonderous gift box of items from

Jessi Lynn in Checktowaga NY.

Wow! What a great Christmas surprise! There was a large card that even included a black and white photo of a child in the snow. Is that you Jessi a number of years ago? It also has other wintry scenes, sparkling trees and snow flakes. I can see a lot of work went into this project.

Then.. there was a gift.. a box with Christmas star cookie cutters in six sizes. I never, ever expected a gift. Thanks you!

Then.. an adorable little booklet, with household tipe from A to Z! Isn't this great.... oh wait there is more..

Then... a huge box of Christmas cookies! Yep, that is right! Many, many cookies, cut out and decorated! My husband is enjoying them right this moment.

Jessie, I cannot thank you enough for you thoughtfulness and the great box of treasures.

Blessings to you! Merry Christmas and many thanks!

Joan

I'm posting a pic for my daughter, Robin, aka "birdie71" of the Mail Art sent to her by Peggy . . aka "pegsmiles".
A BEAUTIFUL work of art with all sorts of wonderful embellishments. It is attached to a Christmas card and Peggy included a copy of her Christmas poem for this year.
Robin says "THANK YOU" It's beautiful . . she has it on her entertainment center in the living room.

Hello y'all. And happy new year!

My computer is messed up so I am not able to email anyone using the little email thing here. So I was wondering if Susan Harmon had gotten my mail art. I mailed it a few weeks ago finally. Anyway, I was just wondering.

And I am a little sad because I never got any mail art for Dec. I am so enjoying everyone elses though. Such talented ladies here.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

Kris, thank you for my Christmas Tree. You used so many different mediums, I don't know where to begin. Cordage, buttons, decupage (sp?) and even an interesting wrapper. I love it. Please forgive me for not having thanked you sooner, it arrived on the 23rd, and I am just now getting to the computer. Hope you had a very Merry Christmas, your mail-art brightened mine up, too.

Have a Happy New Year
