I received my mail art today from Debbie in KS. What a nice, pretty card with birds on a tree limb. Very festive and wintry scene. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Received your lovely card this week. Mauve, green, gold with 3-D Christmas bulbs. Sweet! I was at a craft show last weekend and bought a table runner and candle mat made of fabric of the same colors. A lovely match. Thank you so much! Hope your holidays are grande!

Here are pics of the WONDERFUL pieces of Mail Art I've received in the last week or so.

The first one is from Kristy . . aka "eggfarmgirl", a newcomer to Mail Art. This is just so intricate, artistic and gorgeous!!!

These are the adorable faces Kristy drew on the outside of the envelope . . . cute, huh!!

A Christmas surprise from Dianne . . aka "textilelover". She stitched the stockings on the front. Wrote a lovely note inside and used handmade paper inside to embellish. THANK YOU!!! It's WONDERFUL!!

And from Anna for my birthday . . .this very artistic and beautiful bird art with a calendar! GORGEOUS!!! THANK YOU!!

THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!

Peggy Ann,
Zentangle is an artform where you use repetitive official patterns to create a piece of art. It is very meditative and anyone can learn to do it. You can go to the official site at www.zentangle.com if. Bu you would like to learn more. You can see it on the card I sent to CJ. If you would like any other information please email me. I do other forms of artwork. But this one is addictive ! lol ! Yes I admit I am a tangled addict !! lol !! Hugs to all... here is the one I did after I traced around my husbands hand. It is in a journal with all of my families hands as well. It is a real treasure to us since my husbands passing.

Hugs...Kristy

Isn't it fabulous? Beautiful winter picture. And Staci, you will not believe this, I just laid this frame out on the table yesterday and was trying to find something to put in it!!!! Yep, it was waiting for my mailart from you...just took me a second to clean the glass and insert the picture...instant art! Thank you so much!

Kristy...I have got to go to that Web Site and check that out. It looks very meditative (as well as addicting) and I love learning new art form. Thanks for sharing the picture of your husbands hand...that would be a treasure to have your whole families and with your husband gone now...what comfort to still be able to look at his hand. Awesome!

All The Other Art Work is Fabulous too! Great Job Mail-Artists!

Blessings,

Good Morning! What gorgeous mail art everyone has created and received. Over the (very busy) weekend I was delighted to open my mail and see a beautiful piece of mail art from Lady Darcy (aka Country Girl). I will post a picture when I can, but I must describe the card, as it is in my favorite color (blue) with a crackle finish and with two of my favorite winter themes--snowflakes and snowmen. She also included a recipe for a relaxing chamomile tea which I can't wait to try. I love it! And yet another coincidence--Pride and Prejudice (Mr. Darcy) is one of my favorite books and movies.
